I initially had a very diverse practice that included litigation in the areas of criminal law, family law, immigration law, probate , personal injury, foreclosure, bankruptcy and general litigation. However during the last 30 years, I have concentrated my practice to transactional law such as mergers and acquisitions, finance, real estate (commercial as well as residential), corporate, zoning, municipal, business succession, and collaborative business dispute resolution, a group I co-founded in CT in 2017. My most significant client has been the State of Connecticut, Department of Economic and Community Development as well as the Department of Housing. I have started a number of businesses outside of the practice of law and I am especially interested in providing legal services to entrepreneurs with whom I identify and whose legal needs I understand. I have been politically active, having been a delegate to 5 national Democrat Conventions and served as the Chairman of the Connecticut Electoral College in 2008.
