Real estate, finance and business attorney, Chelsea Rae Clark’s general legal practice focuses on commercial real estate and business law including purchase and sale transactions, land use and development planning matters, as well as business and corporate transactions. Chelsea is also suited for practice as a lawyer for charitable organizations and municipalities across the state, and she is familiar with federal regulations, local land use codes, as well as county and state policy.
Originally from South Dakota, Chelsea was raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, and has lived most of her life along the Front Range and in the mountains. Prior to attending law school, she worked for three years as a Development Manager for The Broe Group, handling land entitlements and infrastructure construction processes for the Great Western Industrial Park in Windsor, Colorado. There, she assisted in the construction management of the Hexel and Vestas manufacturing facilities within the Park.
Following her time with The Broe Group, she lived for three years in Aspen, Colorado, where she worked as a real estate paralegal participating in transactions collectively valued at over $150 million. She also became well versed in preparing wills and trusts, as well as general estate planning.
Chelsea Clark received her Juris Doctor degree in 2016 from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and graduated with honors in 2006 from Colorado State University with a Bachelors degree in Business and a History Minor. While in law school, Chelsea interned with Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC, as well as Garfield & Hecht, PC, in Aspen, Colorado. Upon graduation, Chelsea worked with Coan, Payton & Payne for 5 months prior to founding Clark Law, LLC.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys all of the activities that come along with living in the mountains: trail running, cycling, , hiking and skiing. She’s also an artisan soap-maker.
